Cruelty-Free Product Reviews

Boulder Clean is a household products company inspired by their location of Boulder, Colorado. It creates products that are both natural and effective to help keep your home and planet safe. Made without harmful, toxic chemicals and instead with EPA Safer Choice certified ingredients, you don't have to worry about the potential hazards found in other house cleaners.

Boulder Clean's liquid dish soap packs a punch when it comes to removing grease and baked on foods, yet is very gentle on the hands. The green apple scent is lovely, but not overpowering, and will not transfer onto the cleaned dishes. Made with plant-derived rather than animal ingredients, this product is both cruelty-free and vegan. The amount of product is also impressive, as each bottle contains 28 fluid ounces. This dish detergent is perfect for families looking to incorporate safer cleaning products without sacrificing strength.

Booda Butter is a company that automatically brings a smile to your face. Their packaging is so fun, colorful, and querky. But, what's inside is even more worthy of celebrating. Booda Butter's products are beyond amazing and formulated with incredibly simple ingredients.

The Suds of Love All-In-One Soap is made with olive oil, coconut oil, fair trade shea butter, artesian spring water, and sodium hydroxide, and that's it! The result is a super creamy, moisturizing soap that is hydrating enough to use for shampoo, soap, and shaving purposes. The scent is incredibly mild and perfect for individuals that prefer unscented products. This soap is wonderful for everyone, especially those with dry skin. Also check out their daily moisturizer; not to be overdramatic, but it's life changing.

J.R. Watkins is a cruelty-free company that was established in 1868. Their product line boasts a wide variety that includes bath + body, home care, health, and even a line of gourmet culinary seasonings. Although J.R. Watkins is a company of many hats, one thing is certain, their products are high-quality, natural, smell lovely, and work.

J.R. Watkins' All Purpose Cleaner is no example. Formulated without harsh chemicals and instead made with ingredients including rosemary leaf oil, this all-purpose cleaner leaves counters, tile, floors, stainless steel, and even woodwork super clean. Additionally, the fresh lemon scent is refreshing without being overpowering. The All-Purpose Cleaner is also available in Aloe + Green Tea, Coconut, Grapefruit, Lavender, and White Tea + Bamboo.

Face masks are a great way to replenish and rejuvenate skin from our environment, products we use on our skin, and other factors that can negatively impact our complexion. Investing in a full-sized product can sometimes feel burdensome, as one option may work better than another. Also, it's always fun to mix it up.

Andalou Naturals recently released a line of "single use" face masks, which cater to a variety of skin types. Options include age defying, brightening, soothing, and clarifying and contain a multitude of good for you ingredients. Although they are marketed as one use, there is easily enough for multiple applications. If you like to try all different products and formulations, these masks are perfect. It's so easy to mix and match depending on your needs. The formulas are light, yet effective, and dry in about 10 minutes. Afterwards, simply remove with a damp hand towel. Skin is left feeling refreshed and envigorated.

Bath Bombs have hit the beauty and personal care scene hard in the last year, and for good reason. They are intended to create a relaxing, moisturizing, sometimes-bubbly, bathing experience filled with a lovely aroma.

Leaping Bunny certified company, Aroma Rebel Bath & Body, has created a wonderful line of bath bombs with a variety of scents. The Honey Hula bath bomb (which does not contain honey), is deliciously fragrant with a mix of pineapple, coconut, and a hint of cilantro. The scent invigorates the senses while in the bath and lightly lingers on the skin afterwards. The bath bomb creates a bubbly, green bath, which is very moisturizing. It is formulated with avocado oil, sweet almond oil, and unrefined cocoa butter, and leaves the skin soft and supple to the touch.

If you are interested in taking your bath to the next level, Aroma Rebel's line of bath bombs is filled with an array of wonderful scents and formulations. Next on my list is the Unicorn Bubble Bath Bomb, which is a combination of orange, berry, and sugared vanilla.
